SHOWA KINEN PARK(In Japanese, 昭和記念公園)

I took a stroll around SHOWA KINEN PARK OF Tachikawa City, Tokyo, Japan.

In November 2013.

The park was established as park of a project to commemorate the 50th

anniversary of Emperor Showa's reign.

(昭和記念公園は昭和天皇の在位50周年記念の公園として設立されました。)

This ginkgo tree has been pruned into a rectangle.

(銀杏の木は長方形に剪定されています。)

A sasanqua (camellia).

（さざんか）

The autumn, the leaves are beautiful.

（紅葉が綺麗です。)

Large pine cones.

(大きな松ぼっくり)

There is also a pond in the park.

（池もあります。）

This is a city of Tachikawa.
